Joju George’s directorial debut ‘Pani’ set for multilingual release

Joju George’s highly anticipated directorial debut, ‘Pani’, is gearing up for a wide release across five languages. Following its original Malayalam version, the film will also be available in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada. The movie, which has already generated significant buzz with its viral posters and stills shared widely on social media, will be distributed by major industry players in each language.

Joju George, who stars as Giri, has dedicated an entire year to this project, making it his sole focus during this period. The film also stars Abhinaya, renowned for her performances in Tamil and Telugu cinema, as the female lead. The production saw an extensive shoot spanning 110 days, involving former Bigg Boss stars Sagar and Junais, singer Abhaya Hiranmayi, and numerous newcomers and junior artists.

Produced by M. Riyaz Adam and Sijo Vadakkan under the banners of Appu Pathu Pappu Productions, AD Studios, and Sree Gokulam Movies, ‘Pani’ is described as a mass revenge thriller. The film’s music is composed by Vishnu Vijay and Sam CS, with cinematography handled by Venu ISC and Jinto George. Distribution will be managed by Dream Big Films through Sree Gokulam Movies. The marketing efforts are led by Obscura Entertainments, with Athira Diljith serving as the PRO.
